Marietta Business Association

The WCBA 2012 Board of Directors and Chairs

What is West Cobb Business Association?

West Cobb is a distinct community with its own recreational sports, businesses, schools, parks, churches and shopping centers. It is unique in that it spans several different cities including: Acworth, Dallas, Hiram, Kennesaw, Marietta, and Powder Springs.

The West Cobb Business Association (WCBA) was established to fill a need in unincorporated West Cobb. With the community as the center of our focus, we build partnerships with our schools, churches, residents, and businesses throughout our area of influence.

As members of the WCBA, we know that if we invest in our community, our community will invest in our businesses.

WCBA Goals

  • To establish an open line of communication between businesses, residents, schools, churches, and the local government
  • To work toward improving the business conditions in West Cobb
  • To meet and network with other business owners & managers in the community
  • To give back to our neighborhood by participating in and initiating community events and fund-raisers

Partnering for the Future

The West Cobb Business Association is growing at a record pace. The WCBA Board of Directors and Committee members are focused on creating a better quality of life in our community.

A Message from the President

The West Cobb Business Association is ready to help you make the most of your membership in 2012! Our slogan is "Where Business and Relationships Converge" and we are offering exciting new opportunities to facilitate these relationships for you. If you were a member in the past and didn't renew, please reconsider and join our Vice President/Membership Director, Mark Zangari at 10:30 am on 4th Tuesdays before lunch to learn of the many benefits and opportunities to grow your business through your WCBA membership. Our dues haven't changed, still just $75 annually, but everything else has: limited speakers for luncheons and more time to build relationships and network with a 30 second spot for each member during lunch!

We are proud to announce that we have rebranded our Business After Hours program for 2012. 1st Tuesdays "Networking at Nite" is a monthly After Hours mixer and does not conflict with our fellow business associations’ events. No more having to decide which event to attend! There are many more exciting opportunities in the works I am so excited about and can't wait to share them with each of you! I look forward to a fantastic year!

Krystine Torella, President 2012
